• Our first service was in October of 1999

• The ROCK of Dahlonega was the first church planted out of ROCK Ministries
Incorporated which now includes 400+ churches worldwide

• Church began with only 20 Covenant Partners

• Outgrew the first facility on Crown Mountain within 2 years

• Left second facility in 2007 to current location

• Merged with Holy Evangel Ministries in 2007 and established Pastor Joel
Crotzer as the new senior pastor of The ROCK of Dahlonega

• Began new building project in the fall of 2007 which provided a new children’s
wing, classrooms, offices, restrooms and the largest main sanctuary in the area
with a seating capacity of over 500 people.

• The current main sanctuary was commissioned for service on 10/26/2008

• Former Main Sanctuary was converted into a youth sanctuary with it’s first
service held in the winter of 2008

• Hundreds of people have begun their personal relationship with Jesus Christ at
The ROCK of Dahlonega alter services - Over 270 in one year alone

• The ROCK of Dahlonega continues to make history today through a variety of
in-house and outreach ministries

WE BELIEVE … Jesus Christ loves every person & has a specific plan & reason
for each life.

WE BELIEVE … Jesus died on the cross & shed His blood for our sins. We
believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the
cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead & is coming again.

WE BELIEVE … the only way to experience a fulfilling life is by receiving Jesus
into your heart to be your Savior.

WE BELIEVE … water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood
of Jesus & a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE … in one God who exists in three distinct Persons: Father, Son &
Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as
Savior of the world.

WE BELIEVE … the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error, & the authority
on which we base our faith, conduct & doctrine.

WE BELIEVE … as children of God, we are destined to rise above
circumstances & to experience an abundant life.

WE BELIEVE … the fullness of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to
believers who ask. This experience empowers the believer to serve Christ &
share Him with others.

WE BELIEVE … the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation today for the
strengthening of & ministry to the Body of Christ.

WE BELIEVE … in taking Communion on a regular basis as an act of
remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross.
